  2. and author, the half-brother of the actor and
  3. manager Herbert Beerbohm Tree (1853-1917). A
  4. perfectionist in style, he contributed to The
  5. Yellow Book in 1894; wrote the novel of
  6. Oxford undergraduate life, Zuleika Dobson
  7. 1911; and published volumes of caricature,
  8. including Rossetti and His Circle 1922. He
  9. succeeded G B Shaw as critic to the Saturday
  10. Review 1898.
